ABOUT US

We Build For
People

Marindja Facilities Services is led by two proud Territorians, with deep roots and diverse experience across the Northern Territory.

Craig Trezise

Director of Marindja Facilities Services, Craig brings extensive expertise in electrical safety, compliance, project delivery, and business leadership across facilities, infrastructure and construction sectors. With a strong track record in senior management and multi-state project execution, Craig’s skills ensure that Marindja Facilities Services delivers high-quality safety, maintenance, and project management services to all government and private-sector clients.

John Piening

Managing Director, John, is a Territory-born business leader with long-standing involvement in civil and commercial services through Piening Holdings — a locally established company active in civil construction, maintenance and Indigenous services across the NT and beyond. John’s deep understanding of regional needs, community networks and project delivery in remote and urban environments underpins the company’s practical, people-first approach to service.

Together, Craig and John champion a client-focused, compliant and culturally respectful organisation committed to safety, reliability and accountability. Their combined experience — grounded in Territory-wide work across multiple industries and sectors — ensures Marindja Facilities Services delivers solutions that meet modern compliance standards while supporting local engagement and outcomes.

OUR MISSION

Indigenous Ownership & Community Commitment

Marindja Facilities Services is a majority Indigenous-owned and Indigenous-managed enterprise, proudly accredited with Supply Nation. Our identity and values are grounded in strong cultural and community ties to the Marindja region in the remote Northern Territory outback, where connection to Country, community and responsibility underpin the way we operate as a business.

We are committed to delivering meaningful social outcomes alongside high-quality facilities and compliance services. This includes actively supporting Indigenous participation in the workforce, creating employment opportunities wherever possible, and providing training and career pathways for young people, particularly Indigenous youth. Through mentoring, on-the-job experience and skills development, we aim to build long-term capability rather than short-term engagement.

Our approach to social responsibility extends beyond employment. We seek to work respectfully with Indigenous communities, support local suppliers, and contribute to sustainable economic participation in the regions in which we operate. As a Supply Nation–registered business, Marindja Facilities Services is committed to genuine, measurable outcomes that align with government and private sector Indigenous procurement objectives while delivering professional, compliant and reliable services nationwide.
